University City changed its mulch process in the spring of 2016 due to lack of necessary space in University City for suitable operations and associated environmental concerns. Since then the City still provides the same services – curbside leaf collection, yard waste collection, and mulch delivery. The City now enlists St. Louis Composting to haul the leaf and yard waste to their facility to process the material into compost, leaf mulch, and wood chips. Mulch is now available through delivery only. We would like to know how the residents like the new process.
