University City has become the first municipality in St. Louis County to adopt a Domestic Partnership Ordinance on Monday, May 9, 2011. This ordinance established a Domestic Partnership Registry that would provide those in the partnership the same rights as spouses at all City facilities and in City operations. A copy of the ordinance is forthcoming. Individuals will be able to apply for the registry on June 1, 2011 at the City Clerk’s office.
