Out of Town Notification

University City Police Department Out of Town Notification System

The University City Police Department has an out of town notification system to provide extra patrols when you are away from home. When you are going to be away:

• Fill out and submit the form online here.
• Call our Police Dispatch at 314-725-2211 and make the out-of-town notification. You will be asked a series of questions such as emergency contact information, dates of departure and return, etc. The information is then entered into our computer system and can be relayed should we get a call at your residence.
• You can also complete the Out of Town Notification Form (PDF) online, save it, and e-mail the form to: dburress@ucitymo.org.

Officers will attempt to check your residence at least once a day while you are away. 

Residents should STOP mail and package deliveries while out of town.

The Police Department encourages the use of electronic monitoring (Alarm Systems), to aid in the security of your home. Systems protect against burglary, fire, and medical emergencies.
